U-11 Report from 9 July

U-11 mini report:
The U-11 quarters were amazing with all of the kids making so much progress. We won the last quarter! The huge field beat us more so than our opponents. Every one of the opponents' tries were wide sideways runs way around the outside for long breakaway runs, because the field was very, very wide. We played on the football field at less than 1/2 the length but at full width. So the field was wider than it was long. Very strange and very exhausting. If we had played on our field I believe we would have won several quarters. Even while exhausted after many defensive sprints and when losing according to points, I saw smiles all around from the kids. Real troupers, all. We are shaping up so well and the kids are having fun. We will have fun this Saturday and can win as well, so please come out and play.
